Written in 2003, this show has been on several Highland tours. Stigma has also been part of several mental health conferences across Scotland and in Surrey. This forty minute play works within a series of professionally led workshops for young people and those adults who work in health or youth services. Originally commissioned by HUG, as part of the Scottish Exec’s See Me Campaign, this is the play that puts the pain and shame of mental health under the spotlight.
Andy Thompson, Depute Head of Invergordon Academy, had this to say about the production:
“The workshops and play provided an invaluable opportunity to highlight the key issues surrounding mental health to pupils, and to give them advice and support.”
